Based in the Fleetville area of St. Albans, Fleetville Community Playgroup is an Ofsted registered, not-for-profit preschool that welcomes up to 24 children from the age of 2 years old. Our hours are 8:45 AM–3 PM, Monday to Thursday.

How to apply
We are still accepting applications for the 2025–26 summer term. If you are interested, download and complete our registration form, and return it by email.
There is a £30 registration fee that must be paid by bank transfer.
Childcare support
Questions about 15- or 30-hours funding for 0–5 year-olds? You can find more information on the Herts Early Years portal including a contact email address childcare@hertfordshire.gov.uk.
You can also use the UK government website Childcare Choices to check eligibility.

Our playgroup is shaped by a dedicated and experienced team. With a manager who has been with us since 2005 and a long-serving team of key workers, we offer a stable, nurturing environment for children. Many of our staff are qualified teachers, which is reflected in the high quality of planning, and thoughtful, engaging sessions we provide.
