Fleetville Community Playgroup is a not-for-profit pre-school registered by Ofsted which meets at Fleetville Community Centre in St Albans on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9am to 12noon. We can take up to 23 children aged from 2½ years.

Our emphasis is on children learning through play in a happy stimulating atmosphere. We provide a safe, caring and inspiring setting where pre-school children can learn and grow. We provide a broad range of challenging and fun play activities, both indoors and outdoors, that promote children’s overall development. We work in partnership with parents and welcome families of all backgrounds. We work closely with the local community and participate fully in Fleetville’s life.



A committee of parents helps the staff to run the playgroup and organises fundraising events to buy new toys and equipment. The Playgroup was established in 1982 and since January 2006 has been registered as a
charitable trust.
